Launched in September 2002, Indie Film Lounge was conceived as a forum to open doors for emerging diverse filmmakers and talent, while introducing them to established members of the Canadian and international film community. This year our IFL will be September 2010. IFL brings together producers, directors, writers, actors, government funders, investors, broadcasters, distributors, curators, programmers and other industry professionals from within Canada and the international film community. ReelWorld  Indie Film Lounge kicks off with a cocktail reception. We also have panels and a brunch. These events are invite-only and an excellent opportunity for the new faces of the Canadian film industry to meet with established movers and shakers. During the Indie Film Lounge we also have meetings set up for our Emerging 20 ("e-20"). The Emerging 20 is a group of producers, directors and writers selected for participation in the ReelWorld Indie Film Lounge. The Emerging 20 participants have the opportunity of a lifetime to meet distributors, sales agents, broadcasters, casting directors, agents, and other producers, writers and directors during Face2Face - meetings during the Indie Film Lounge.
