Created in 2002, the IFL is a professional development platform for emerging and diverse filmmakers, actors, writers and producers with the intention of nurturing talent and opening doors. A three-day forum that includes meet-and-greets and case studies of successful projects, ReelWorld will choose 20 people to take part in a training session in August and then pair them up with a industry professionals such as broadcasters, government funders, distributors, curators and programmers during the IFL in September for face-to-face meetings.
