ReelPrep Facilitators and Indie Film Lounge Mentors

To prepare for the Face2Face meetings during the Indie Film Lounge, the Emerging 20 participate in two workshops called ReelPrep. These workshops are facilitated by industry professionals who have a long-lasting relationship with ReelWorld. The ReelPrep Facilitators take time out of their busy schedules to spend several hours working with our Emerging 20. They are an invaluable resource to these film artists as they provide knowledge, insight and guidance.

ReelWorld focuses on creating a welcoming, working environment for both experienced and emerging filmmakers and industry professionals. One of our most innovative projects was creating Face2Face sessions. These sessions are an incredible opportunity for our Emerging 20 to meet one-on-one with talented and knowledgeable industry professionals. These meetings are where advice is given, projects are pitched and contact information are exchanged. We call these particular industry professionals who participate in our Face2Face sessions our Mentors. Every year ReelWorld is lucky enough to have new and returning Mentors who participate in offering words of wisdom to our Emerging 20.
