Come Shadow Me: Mentorship & shadowing on set

3:00 PM  I  Friday, October 18th, 2019  I  Toronto Reference Library

Shadowing is a great way to learn your craft from the inside out - but how does one get to be on set?

What will I learn?

It’s all about who you know and how you leverage that. This panel discusses what it takes to get on that industry list; how to build those relationships and why providing mentorship placements and shadow opportunities to new and emerging filmmakers is important. Learn some of the Do's and Don'ts of set etiquette, how to set realistic expectations for both the mentee and mentor and how you can snag one of those coveted positions.
