Tesfaye (Hope) is an evocative new short film by Daniel Negatu that takes you into the turmoil, longing and reflections of an Ethiopian castaway who immigrates to Canada. Based around a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, this arthouse film shares the story of a man being rescued at sea in Madagascar and his subsequent journey to Halifax, Canada.
