They’re young and full of love—but not for one another. It’s the night of Inci and Osman’s wedding and the pressure is on to prove it. But the proof their Aunties look for as they wait on the other side of the bridal suite door will leave them wanting more. This comedy of errors is a commentary on being trapped within an obsolete tradition and the consequences of keeping up appearances.
Director Sibel Guvenc swerves from tragedy to tell a triumphant tale of a woman who wants to overcome the cultural restrictions of her town and escape to the big city.
