ALL THE THINGS
While on a mission in a world nearing devastation, two sisters have what will become their last conversation.
A decade after the last of the bees died off, wreaking havoc on crops and bringing devastation, two sisters set off on a mission to find a solution. Robotic bees have tried to fill the void, but so far can barely even be called a band-aid for the problem.
Sam and Charlie make their way through this soon-to-be wasteland, carrying with them what promises to turn back the clock and bring a better tomorrow. Though Sam is taller and appears fearless, she is younger than level-headed, nurturing Charlie. It is love, not blood that makes them family, but since meeting, they have never been anything but. Now, on their way back the sister’s have what appears to be a pointless conversation, but is actually the most important; their last.
AMANDA LYNN PETRIN
Amanda was born and raised in Montreal, where she began acting as a toddler starting with commercials and after school theater programs, working her way to short films, webseries, TV shows and Feature Films. After completing her Bachelor Degree in Psychology and History, she dedicated herself to acting full-time, training at LAMDA, as well as with various teachers in Los Angeles, New York and here in Canada. In 2017 she moved to Toronto, where she started her training journey with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, parkour and 'all the things' that used to intimidate her. She has been writing forever, and is excited to share “All the Things”, her Sophomore short.
Ayisha got her start in acting with Immortals in 2011, and has held a steady stream of film, TV and video game work ever since. After 5 seasons as the villain on Unite 9 and many international films, she moved to Toronto and opened a gym, 4 Points BJJ, which combines her love of acting with that of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (she is a competitive brown belt in the sport) to offer BJJ,
acting and film fighting classes and workshops. Always interested in how the other side works and in creating opportunities for herself and other artists, she decided to venture into Producing, for which All The Things is the first of many projects she has lined up. Acting wise, this year she will be starring with Jesse Eisenberg and Salma Hayek in The Hummingbird Project and opposite Mads Mikkelsen in Polar.
