The Emerging 20 Table Reads are an opportunity for our emerging writers to hear their work read out loud by professional Canadian talent.

ACTORS:
You will be cast in multiple projects spanning over a single day. You must be available from 1pm to 5pm EST on selected days.

Register today to connect with emerging writers, and showcase yourself to industry professionals.

This program will prioritize actors who are Black, Indigenous, South Asian, Asian and People of Colour.

Level Up 2 Program

Level Up 2 Program

Level UP 2 is an on-the-ground experience developed in partnership with Rogers Sports & Media for Canadian writers and directors. Selected writers will spend four weeks of the program working remotely in the show’s virtual writers room, and one week on set learning about changes made to various drafts of the scripts while experiencing the collaborative nature of television production and understanding the importance of each department.

Reelworld Emerging 20 Program

Reelworld Emerging 20 (E20) Program has been redesigned. The program has been tailored to support writers and will be streamed into two specific areas: Series and Film. Ten Candidates will be chosen for each stream. The Candidates will be taken through an intense 3-month program to create or polish their idea into a script draft. You will work with story editors and industry professionals who will help guide you through the process and share industry insights into the Canadian screen industry.

2022 Reelworld Producer Program

The Reelworld Producer Program is a year-long curriculum that provides mentoring and learning opportunities, and creates pathways to build a career as a producer in the television industry. The program candidates will be immersed in the business side of the Canadian entertainment field. After choosing a project, under a mentor, they will learn valuable skills such as creating a corporation, retaining intellectual property rights, choosing and optioning scripts, creating deal memos, choosing key creatives and casting directors, plus much more.
