EVERY GRAIN OF RICE
Cast members: Thao Nguyen-Duong, Michelle Nguyen
Every Grain of Rice explores tradition, family, and cultural identity, specifically a fear of losing grasp of one’s identity through assimilation. With close-ups of beautifully garnished dishes and delicious sounds of food sizzling, the film creates a unique setting to lay down a personal discussion about identity and will leave you hungry for more.
They say it takes three generations for a culture to assimilate... What happens next? -- an exploration of cultural identity through food and recipes.
