2019 Reelworld Film FESTIVAL Submissions are now Closed

Submissions for the 2020 Reelworld Film Festival will open on January 20, 2020.

Founded by Tonya Williams, Reelworld Film Festival, now in its 19th year, is dedicated to screening and supporting the underrepresented voices of Indigenous and racialized media artists who create films for social good. We prioritize our selection to include Canadian films by key BIPOC creatives that explore current and pressing social issues.

The Festival features industry panels, pitch sessions, networking receptions, a student program, and live music performances and showcases narrative features, documentaries, shorts, music videos, episodic content and VR/360 films that tell important stories, spark meaningful dialogue and inspire social change.

Meet our talented team of programmers who curate the incredible selection of creative works to be showcased at the Festival.
