After a lackluster second date, Josh and Suraya encounter a canvasser collecting for charity. While each tries to out-donate the other, the pair are forced to confront their socio-political values and get down to brass tax about how they really feel about each other. Will there be a third date?

Nadine Bhabha is very excited to be working on Lovers, Leftovers with her pal David and the good people at YEAA. She is an actor and writer born and raised in Toronto. She is a graduate of York University’s Acting Conservatory program. She has been fortunate to work both on stage and on-camera in her favourite city. You can find Nadine on a streaming service near you in shows such as Crave TV’s Letterkenny or KindaTV’s Barbelle. She is a budding filmmaker, having co-written, co-produced and co-starring in her first short film, Twenty Eight, this past year. She is also a published poet, and her book, sweat, is available on Amazon and in various local bookstores.

David Reale is inherently lazy and unmotivated. A special thanks to Nadine for getting him to sit down and write this piece with her. Reale starred in the film Bang Bang Baby, (Best First Feature – TIFF). He is featured in Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut, Molly’s Game and the upcoming film Georgetown, directed by and starring two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz. On TV, David can be seen as Benjamin “The I.T. Guy” on Suits (USA), with guest appearances in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), The Boys (Amazon), and Titans (DC/Warner Brothers).
