SAMY OSMAN

Samy Osman is a Toronto based actor and filmmaker, with many interest in and outside the film/TV industry, including martial arts, stunt work, philosophical musings, video games, reading and tear inducing laughter. He was born and grew up in the National Capital Region in Canada and has a mixed ethnic background. Samy has appeared in many independent films, more recently playing the leading man in Newborn, a film appearing in Academy Awards and Canadian Screen Awards qualifying festivals, taking home multiple awards and winning CBC’s 2018 Short Film Faceoff in Canada. He has also performed in shows such as The Handmaid’s Tale, Flashpoint, Mayday, Saving Hope and a recurring role on Nikita starring Maggie Q. He loves bringing his own projects to life and tends to create comedic works as those are usually the ideas that come to him; there’s something about the feeling you get when you make people laugh.

PHI HUYNH

Phi Huynh is a Canadian-Vietnamese actor and action performer based in Toronto. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance Arts in 2011. He is known for his principal acting and stunt performances in: V-Wars , Salvation, The Next Step, Mayday, Heroes Reborn, Man in the High Castle, Titans, Star Trek Discovery, Killjoys, Taken, Incorporated. He had the fortunate opportunity recently to work on a theatrical feature entitled, MIDWAY directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence day, Universal Soldier). Last year he co-wrote, produced his short film, Picking Things Up: Nối Lại Tình Xưa - which will be premiering at (CCIFF) in Toronto/Ottawa and Montreal in September 2019. Through filmmaking, his goal is to inspire and entertain Western audiences, bringing Asian representation and recognition to hard working stunt performers.
