SHADOW WORLD

Directed by Johan Grimonprez and based on Andrew Feinstein’s acclaimed book “The Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade”, Shadow World takes an inside look at how the billion dollar international arms trade is manipulating global interests, corrupting democracy and placing profit over human lives. Told through gripping expert interviews and provocative archival footage, this film investigates some of history’s largest global arms deals to reveal a legacy of bribery and officials acting above the law. One of the most important films you’ll watch this year, Shadow World shows how an illicit culture of war profiteering is destroying our world today.
