Jerry Wolf is a Screenwriter and Film Director of biracial Waywayseecappo First Nations and Vietnamese descent. He’s a graduate of the Toronto Film School. He discovered a passion for working with young performers in 2017 when he was hired to work as videomaker for a children’s performance arts studio in London, Ontario.
In 2018, he began work on the supernatural drama, WE ARE NOT THE MONSTERS, a webseries about the troubled youth of a Northern Ontario community that must band together to defend themselves against a powerful supernatural menace. Designing the series as an ambitious fully formed multi-episode proof-of-concept package ready to be developed for film.
He formed CINETHETICA as a boutique production company collaborating with 20+ actors, dancers, and musicians to undertake this project and along the way has written and directed 15+ short narrative films. His recent film “Spookwood” has been screened at Skoden Indigenous Festival, Caribbean Tales International Film Festival, and the Aniskabi Film Festival (to name a few). He resides in Woodstock, Ontario where he continues to develop WE ARE NOT THE MONSTERS and other film/tv projects.
