Director:
Geordie Trifa is an award-winning Canadian BIPOC director, writer, and cinematographer. Geordie is currently directing the blue chip natural history series 'Shared Planet' set to be released on CBC in 2024. His most recent directing credits include the CBC films Pandemic Elementary’ and ‘Black Rock,’ both currently available on CBC Gem, and the feature documentary ‘A Life Unbound’ globally distributed by Off The Fence and currently broadcasted in six countries. ‘A Life Unbound’ was released in 2019 following the work of internationally renowned Neuroscientist Anat Baniel; the film has found an international following after being theatrically released in over 30 cities globally and becoming a finalist at the 2020 Raw Science Film Festival. Geordie’s latest film is the Harold Greenberg Financed ‘Call Me AWOL’ which he both wrote and directed following the story of a seventeen-year-old boy navigating the youth justice system.
