Director:
Anita Abbasi is a writer-director based in Montreal. Hailing from Pakistani & Salvadoran immigrant backgrounds, Anita’s work explores diasporic identity, our desire to be loved and Western popular culture. Her short films include The Talent Scout, French Poutine, Mariah ¡qué baile!, Sinvergüenzilla in ‘First Kiss’ and Saturday Fuego Diablo.
