Synopsis
The day after Ren is accepted into theatre school, her mother dies in a car accident. The family can’t afford to host a ‘proper’ funeral so Dying+, an eerily zen-inspired funeral home, offers them a last resort: they can abandon Mom’s body at Dying+ to be cremated and placed in a mass grave. Ren is faced with an impossible choice: use her hard-earned tuition money to pay for the funeral, or pursue her dreams and leave Mom behind.
