Seventeen-year-old JR Sylliboy is summoned by the brother of his late father, recently released from prison, uncle Arty, and he is taken on an unforgettable summer road trip to the state of Maine. Misfortune, corruption, deception, and violence seem to greet them at every turn, until they finally make their way to the location of his late father's tragic death, years before, at the now-named Jeffrey's Turn.

About the Director
Glen Gould (Mi’kmaq) is an Award-Winning Actor, born and raised on the Membertou First Nation in Nova Scotia. He has an extensive background in Theater, Television & Film. Most recently, he had a recurring role in the TV series’, Sullivan’s Crossing, Revival, & Tulsa King. Glen had guest starring roles in the TV series’ Fire Country, Fargo, Outlander, Hudson & Rex and Diggstown, just to name a few. He can be seen in the feature films: At The Place of Ghosts, The Birds Who Fear Death, Last Straw and Pet Semetary: Bloodlines and the award-winning mini-series/feature film Bones of Crows. Glen can also be seen in the feature film, 8:37 Rebirth, which garnished him a couple of Best Actor awards. He also starred opposite Bella Thorn in the indy feature Girl and can be seen as War Dog in the Hollywood Blockbuster, Cold Pursuit, starring Liam Neeson. few. In addition to Film and Television, Glen also has an extensive background in Theatre and is known as for his rich voice, providing voice overs and narration in many TV Shows, Documentaries and Animation. Jeffrey’s Turn is Glen’s directorial debut.
