After the death of her grandfather, Riley, an actress, returns to her hometown's dance hall in rural Saskatchewan and unexpectedly encounters her former best friend Kelsey at a wedding. Riley is confronted with the place that shaped her, one that remains familiar long after it stopped feeling like home.

Sarah Carrier is a Canadian film producer, director, writer, and editor. Her most recent short, Danceland, is currently on its festival run. Sarah is Cree and a member of Piapot First Nation in Treaty 4 territory. She is currently based in Toronto.
