Alex's grandfather is dying of stomach cancer. When the older man starts claiming those aren't tumours in his belly but pilfered diamonds from a long-forgotten heist in the old country, family secrets and myths collide as Alex grapples with her newfound inheritance resting in a dying man's stomach.

About the Director
Kyle D'Odorico is a biracial Japanese-Canadian filmmaker based out of Vancouver. He doesn't like listing accolades in bios, but he understands their use; he was part of the 2024 cohort of the Whistler Screenwriting Lab, and his first feature, The Bryce Lee Story, is premiering at the 2026 Vancouver International Film Festival.
