About the Director
Kimberley Ann is a French Canadian filmmaker and producer whose work centers Black, marginalized, and underrepresented voices, both in front of and behind the camera. She began her career in documentary filmmaking, directing short and medium-length films including Against All Odds, Feeding Dreams (which premiered at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival), and The Relay (CBC, Radio-Canada). Her work reflects a practice that is both intimate and socially engaged.
