Sanam and Jehan, the bride's mother and grandmother, hurry into the bridal suite to check in on Alia, the bride. They're surprised to hear that Alia has cold feet, as she talks about all the differences between her and her fiancé. Frustrated by this, Sanam tries to get Alia ready, wrestling her with a dupatta that's been passed down through generations, while Jehan looks on, amused.

About the Director
Shazia Javed is the founder and CEO of LifeSketch Media, a production company championing equity in leadership. She recently produced, directed and showran Potluck Ladies, earning Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Drama Series and Best Writing. The series also won Best Drama Series at SeriesFest. Her other works include 3 Seconds Divorce, winner of Reelworld's Audience Choice Award, and the NFB documentary Namrata, which received two AMPIA Award nominations.
