About the Director

King Louie Palomo is a Vancouver-based queer Filipino-Canadian writer, director, and producer. His short, Nene, won Standout Director at Reelworld (2021) and his proof-of-concept, Stay, screened at over 20 festivals, earning awards at Out on Film and Queer North. An alumnus of the CFC Director's Lab, he recently directed Inang Reyna and produced Auganic (Best Live Action Short, deadCenter 2024).
