About the Director

Richard Dang is a Cambodian-Canadian filmmaker, known for his guerrilla-style approach to storytelling—resulting in 20 shorts over two years. He is currently developing a documentary on Cambodian food and identity in Canada. Richard’s works have screened at festivals across Canada, and he’s an alumnus of the BIPOC TV & Film Directors Masterclass (2023).
