2022 Reelworld Producer Accelerator Program

The Reelworld Producer Accelerator Program is a year-long curriculum that provides support to the 2021 producers to continue to develop their projects optioned last year. The 2021 Reelworld Producers went through an intensive 12-month program - meeting with over 40 mentors, attending Banff for pitches and networking, and TIFF so they could broaden their circle of contacts. Reelworld Screen Institute presents Her Frame Matters - a series of programs focused on the depiction of Black, Indigenous, Asian and Women of Colour on Canadian screen. In the first installment of events, we are excited to host a webinar with showrunners of a series featuring a major character who is Indigenous, Black, Asian or a Woman of Colour. Join us on May 17 at 1:00pm EST with R.T. Reelworld Emerging 20 Program

Reelworld Emerging 20 Program

Reelworld Emerging 20 (E20) Program has been redesigned. The program has been tailored to support writers and will be streamed into two specific areas: Series and Film. Ten Candidates will be chosen for each stream. The Candidates will be taken through an intense 3-month program to create or polish their idea into a script draft. You will work with story editors and industry professionals who will help guide you through the process and share industry insights into the Canadian screen industry.
