Prem Gill is the Chief Executive Officer of Creative BC, the provincial agency that supports the growth of B.C.’s diverse creative industries—including motion picture, music, digital media, and publishing.

 

A recognized sector leader, Prem has been named one of The Most Powerful Women in Canadian Entertainment by The Hollywood Reporter, featured in Vancouver Magazine’s Power 50, and honoured with the Community Catalyst Award by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.

 

She brings over two decades of experience in media and entertainment to her role, previously leading original programming at TELUS, where she launched initiatives like STORYHIVE and Optik Local to support emerging creators.

 

A passionate advocate for Canadian talent, Prem serves on the boards of The Bell Fund and BC Tech Association, chairs the Association of Provincial and Territorial Funding Agencies, and sits on the City of Vancouver Mayor’s Business Growth Task Force.
