In 2014, Lavado received the prestigious Bahamian Icon Award, solidifying his place in his country’s history and inspiring future generations of creatives. He is the founder of Conchboy Films, a production company that has evolved from a passionate start-up to a thriving creative entity. His impressive body of work includes directing episodes for the Hulu and Bounce TV series "Johnson", producing and directing award-winning short documentaries like "Antonese", and creating music videos for Sony Records’ Grammy-winning group, Baha Men. Additionally, he has worked on various commercials and multimedia projects, continuing to make his mark on the global stage.
