With an educational and professional background in cultural industries, engineering, and international business, Archita has been the president of Montreal-based, Indigenous production company Rezolution Pictures International Inc since 2024. Her role involves leading the 25 year old company through its next phase of growth via various documentary, scripted, feature, and series projects. From 2013-2023, she was a co-founder of animation, immersive, and technology company E.D. FILMS and prior to working in the Canadian cultural industry, she worked as an engineer in the chemical and automotive industries in Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A for close to two decades. Archita works in English, Bengali, French and Spanish and has served on the board of the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) since 2020.
