Creative Producer
Ariel Yang is a people-first Film and TV Producer with experience across development and production. She is currently a Creative Producer at premier comedy studio, New Metric Media, known for TV comedies Letterkenny (Crave/Hulu), Shoresy (Crave/Hulu), Children Ruin Everything (CTV/Roku/CW), and Bria Mack Gets A Life (Crave). She leads a slate of live-action and adult animated comedy series in development. As an Independent Producer, her credits include the musical comedy feature film, Mother Of All Shows, starring Wendie Malick (Young Sheldon, Hot In Cleveland), which premiered at the 2024 Kingston Canadian Film Festival and the hit digital series Gay Mean Girls, nominated for several Canadian Screen Awards, now streaming on KindaTV. In 2023 she was a recipient of the IPF Short Form Series Production Fund for a vertical video series with an emerging queer Writer/Director. She is a former Content Executive at Warnermedia for Cartoon Network and the key organizer for CN Imagination Studios, a Creator-focused talent development initiative. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's RTA School of Media, Ariel started her career at VisionTV in Programming, video editing for Channel Zero's digital brand Chart Attack, and independently produced a Toronto music documentary short entitled, Untold Noise, free to watch on YouTube.
