Gloria

CSA-nominated director Gloria Ui Young Kim has directed multiple episodes of television including for hit shows Murdoch Mysteries, Heartland and Coroner. Her first feature, Queen of the Morning Calm, won the Woman in the Director’s Chair Feature Film Award, as well as the DGC Ontario Best Director Award, among others, and is now on Showtime. Her second feature, The Banquet, is in development with Hawkeye Pictures, and received support from Telefilm, Ontario Creates and the CFC/Netflix Accelerator. Gloria has been on the Women in Film and Television Board of Directors and was selected for the BIPOC Showrunner Bootcamp and the Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Initiative. Gloria’s commercial work has won numerous Golds. She is currently in the development writing room of K-Rez for Shaftesbury and Red Cloud Productions.
