Babe Nation Films is a Toronto-based production company founded by Katie Bird Nolan and Lindsay Tapscott. With five feature-length films to date and more feature and television projects in the works, Babe Nation produces singular, quality narrative stories that elevates female voices, perspectives and talent.

The company’s projects include The Rest of Us (TIFF 2019), written by Alanna Francis, directed by Aisling Chin-Yee, and starring Heather Graham, Jodi Balfour and Sophie Nélisse; Alice, Darling (TIFF 2022), written by Alanna Francis, directed by Mary Nighy, and starring Anna Kendrick, Kaniehtiio Horn and Wunmi Mosaku; and Bonjour Tristesse (TIFF 2024), a contemporary, English-language adaptation of the famous Françoise Sagan novel, written and directed by Durga Chew-Bose, and starring Chloë Sevigny, Claes Bang and Lily McInerny.

Forthcoming projects include Astonish Me, a limited television series based on the novel by New York Times-bestselling author Maggie Shipstead, and All That She Wants, a romantic comedy starring Annie Murphy, Cooper Raiff, Zosia Mamet and Christine Baranski.
