VP of Development
Lana Maclin is Vice President of Development at the award-winning comedy studio New Metric Media, home to Letterkenny (Hulu/Crave), Shoresy (Hulu/Crave), and Children Ruin Everything (The CW/CTV). She oversees a diverse slate of comedy television series at various stages of development.
Lana served as the Creative Executive overseeing Seasons 3 and 4 of Children Ruin Everything and was a producer on Hate the Player: The Ben Johnson Story, a six-episode limited series for GameTV and Paramount+ Canada. She is currently producing The Posse, a half-hour comedy series and international co-production between CBC and Norway's NRK.
Previously, Lana worked as a freelance producer and director across film, television, and commercial production. She is a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's (formerly Ryerson University) RTA School of Media and holds a certificate in Advanced Media Management from UCLA. Through the Directors Guild of Canada, she has also worked as an assistant director on a variety of film and television productions, including True Dating Stories, Backstage, and Baroness von Sketch Show.
