In 2020, motivated by our mission to eradicate racism by creating more opportunities for Canadian ethnically diverse professionals in the media industry, Reelworld Film Festival and Reelworld Screen Institute commissioned a report from Communications MDR titled "Changing the Narrative: 2020 Status of Canadian Black, Indigenous and People of Colour in Canada's Screen-based Production Sector".
