What Is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that began in 2012 to inspire simple acts of kindness. Today, it’s celebrated in 80+ countries, bringing millions of people together to support the causes that matter most. Canada joined the movement in 2013, championing local organizations that strengthen our communities.

When Is It?

December 2, 2025.
Right after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday flips the script—encouraging Canadians to give back, not just spend.
