Brace yourself for a cinematic rollercoaster so goddamn dangerous, it’ll blow your socks clean off—only for you to realize that you were never wearing socks to begin with. Welcome to Genre Fever…
Director Ace Kazkayasi’ BREATH will haunt viewers with a dialogue-free exploration of a woman trapped in an abusive relationship. Two small-time kidnappers face a moral dilemma in Richard Dang’s RAN SOM. If you prefer your fourth wall’s broken, then you’ll get a kick out of Micaela A. Lozano’s BOOM! Speaking of which, Director Paul Persic’s prodigal son homecoming LICHUN is utterly absurd and heartwarming all at once, especially if you’re into boomstick-wielding grandmothers. Adrian Bobb is back and better than ever with his stunning sci-fi rebirth DRIFTERS. Finally, straight outta Alberta, get ready to get your head blown clean off in Reamonn Joshee and Dallas Soonias’s wild send up of retro cop shows: RENEGADE FEVER: PILOT.
